DD Girnar Established in 1977 with a 1KW NEC transmitter at Pij in Kheda district having programme production facilities at DECU(ISRO).
Now Current setup at Thaltej-Ahmedabad started functioning from 19th Nov 1983 with a 1KW transmitter for relaying Doordarshan National Service which was upgraded to 10KW on25th July 1985.
